• Prophylaxis – Also referred to as a dental cleaning, a dental prophylaxis is necessary to maintain a healthy smile. Your teeth collect plaque throughout the day, so scheduling a regular dental prophylaxis will not only rid your teeth of any buildup, but will prevent future buildup.

• Fillings – When your child has a damaged tooth due to decay, it can be restored and brought back to its normal shape and function with a dental filling. Basically, this process consists of removing the decay from the tooth and “filling” the open space with a material such as composite resin, porcelain, or amalgam.

• Extractions – After your dentist has exhausted her options trying to save your decayed or damaged tooth, the last resort is an extraction. We will make sure you are comfortable throughout the entire process so that you feel little to nothing.

• Prophylaxis Fluoride – Once your child’s teeth grow in, it is recommended that they receive prophylaxis fluoride treatments to help prevent tooth decay, slow it down, or stop it from getting worse all while also strengthening tooth enamel. It is recommended that your child receives this extremely safe varnish 2 to 4 times a year.

• Sealants – There is no easier, more effective, or better way to help your kids fight tooth decay than with dental sealants. These thin, plastic coatings are simply painted on the chewing surfaces of their back teeth and in less than a minute they are keeping out cavity-causing germs and food.
